SRK’s speedy recovery
Throngs of fans waited outside Breach Candy Hospital with baited breath till they heard the good news. King of Bollywood Shah Rukh had undergone a surgery of his left shoulder on Monday 16th February. All the anxious souls were relived after hearing that the operation was successful and SRK is in good health.He has some post surgery pain obviously but on the whole he is expeted to make a quick recovery. He was discharged this morning and walked out with his sling on his left arm and attended a press conference. SRK has been advised to stay away from the action and shooting for at least four months and to take bed rest.
However, king Khan has decided to take rest till start of next IPL season and to continue work from May or June. Let’s see if bollywood can survive without the King. Karan Johar’s much expected MY NAME IS KHAN is on hold till Shah Rukh recovers, completely.

Billu Barber (February 13, 2009) Movie Review
Billu Barber is a story of a simple ordinary man who led an extra ordinary life. Bilas Rao Pardesi (Irrfan Khan) was living in his village with his wife Bindiya (Lara Dutta) and two great kids. Life was bitter sweet... we can say more sweet than bitter.One day a superstar Sahir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) came into their lives and everything changed. Life changed, people changed, friends changed, the village changed but one man did not... Billu Barber. Will this ordinary man redefine the words ordinary? Will the words see the greatness behind his small existence? And most of all, Will life ever be the same for Billu Barber again?
On the whole, BILLU is a sweet-n-simple film that lingers in your memory even after the show has concluded. The final 20 minutes are the highpoint of the enterprise and that elevates the status of the film to great heights. The film has the potential to grow with a strong word of mouth. Recommended... Take your family for this one!

Tom Cruise & Denzel Washington are set to square off against one another in the big screen adaptation of “The Matarese Circle,” Access Hollywood has learned.
Tom is in final negotiations to play Russian spy Vasili Taleniekov, who faces American intelligence operative Brandon Scofield, played by Denzel, a source confirmed to Access.

Was Ghajini really sold for a whopping Rs. 90 crore?
So what's the price of the next biggie to hit the screens this year? I'm talking of GHAJINI. There's tremendous speculation about the price of the film, with 75, 80 and 90 crores being quoted by various sections of the media. The truth is something else.
Quiz GHAJINI producer Madhu Mantena about it and he adds promptly, "The India theatrical business has been sold for Rs. 40 cr. [to Studio 18], while the Overseas rights [sold to Big Pictures] has fetched Rs. 10 cr." Of course, the Satellite rights [sold for Rs. 20 cr. to Studio 18], Home Video [not sold yet] and Audio rights [sold to T-Series] have also fetched handsome amounts.
Another interesting aspect about GHAJINI is that the film isn't a scene to scene copy of the original GHAJINI [Tamil]. "We've changed the last 30 minutes of the film. It's completely different from the original," Madhu says. That increases the expectations from this Aamir Khan starrer all the more.
